ACADEMY duo George Thomas and Darragh Leahy have been selected for the respective countries for important European qualifying matches over the coming days.
Striker Thomas, who has made four first team appearances for the Sky Blues this season, will travel with the Wales squad for their final Under-21 UEFA Qualifier away at Armenia on October 11.
Leahy has once again been included in the Republic of Ireland’s Under-19 squad for three UEFA Qualifying matches against hosts Albania, Gibraltar and Germany between October 6-11.
Both players missed Tuesday’s Checkatrade Trophy game against Northampton but will be available for senior selection when the Sky Blues travel to Charlton Athletic on October 15.
