THE SKY Blues will kick off their 2016/17 League One campaign with a trip to Swindon Town on August 6 before facing back-to-back home games Shrewsbury Town the following week and Bury on August 16.
A trip to Bradford City and another home fixture against newly promoted Northampton Town end a busy opening month before a trip to Steven Pressley’s Fleetwood Town awaits the Sky Blues on September 3.
Tony Mowbray’s side are at home just once in December in a month that includes three away fixtures at Southend United (December 10), Bristol Rovers (Boxing Day) and Peterborough United (New Year’s Eve).
Recently relegated Bolton will be the first team to visit the Ricoh Arena in 2017 as the Sky Blues start the new year with two consecutive home games against The Trotters (January 2) and Port Vale (January 7).
Mowbray’s side face West Midlands rivals Walsall in their final home game on April 22 before travelling to Scunthorpe United on the final day of the season on April 30.
