RONNIE O’Sullivan is set to appear at the Cazoo World Grand Prix in Coventry next month after he reached the semi-finals at last week’s English Open.
The Rocket lost a dramatic semi-final 6-5 against John Higgins – which lifted him up to 11th place on the one-year ranking list.
Neil Robertson went on to win the English Open title with a 9-8 triumph over Higgins in the final – which moves the Australian up to third on the list behind Mark Williams and Mark Allen.
Only the top 32 players will qualify for the World Grand Prix which runs from December 13th to December 19th at the Coventry Building Society Arena.
And there are just two counting events remaining in the race to qualify – the UK Championship and Scottish Open.
