THE CHAMPION of Champions event returns to the Ricoh Arena in November for a third consecutive year and tickets for the hugely popular tournament go on sale this Monday (April 18).

Neil Robertson will be looking to defend his crown in Coventry at the event which runs from November 7-12, while China Open champions Judd Trump and World Grand Prix winner Shaun Murphy have already guaranteed their place.

Two-time winner Ronnie O’Sullivan is also likely to return this year having regained the Masters and Welsh Open crown as the Champion of Champions continues to build on its status as one of the sport’s most exciting events.

Once again the whole tournament will be broadcast live on ITV4 with all the tournament winners from the previous 12 months going head-to-head for the prestigious title and the £100,000 winner’s prize.

Qualifying events take order of precedence with the 16 major tournaments on the World Snooker schedule in the first group of events. The second group comprises four Euro Tour events and the final group has the three tournaments – the Shoot Out, World Seniors and Six Reds.

Should 16 unique winners not be found from the 23 events on the qualifying list, the highest placed player(s) on the 2015-2016 season World Grand Prix Order of Merit who have not qualified for the Champion of Champions shall be invited to play in the tournament.

Tickets go on sale at midday on Monday (April 18) with early bird prices starting as little as £5.50. For more information or to purchase tickets visit www.championofchampionssnooker.co.uk.

Ronnie O’Sullivan has won the Champion of Champions event twice. (s)
