COVENTRY Sphinx will begin the Midland Premier Division season with a home clash against Brocton on August 13 while promoted Coventry United open with a trip to Sporting Khalsa on the same day.

Up next for Sphinx is a trip to the Farley Way Stadium to play Quorn on August 17 before hosting Tividale five days later at Sphinx Drive.

Coventry United first home game of the season is against Rocester on August 16 and they will travel to Coleshill Town for their second away trip on August 23.

The two Coventry sides come up against each other for the first time this season for a mouth-watering fixture on Boxing Day at Sphinx Drive and they play each other again at the same venue on March 11.

Sphinx’s final home game of the season is against Stourport Swifts on April 22 and they end with a difficult trip to Highgate one week later, while Coventry United visit AFC Wulfrunians on the penultimate game of the season before hosting Boldmere St Michaels.
