THE FUTURE looks bright for Sphinx after the club’s under-18s were presented with the Eastern Division of the Midland Floodlit Youth League trophy.

Under the management of Stuart Fraser, the youngsters picked up 12 wins, three draws and only lost once during the entire campaign.

And they made it a league and cup double by beating Stourbridge 3-0 to claim the 2015 Midweek Youth Cup Final on Tuesday night.

Many of the team have also made the progression to playing for Luke Hopkins’s first team and have stacked up a massive 137 first team appearances between them so far this season.

Progression has also come the other way too with several under-16 players making the step up to under-18 level.
