FOOTBALL: MARK Robins was hit by crushing news on Saturday after it was revealed star forward Tony Andreu would miss the rest of the season.
The Frenchman limped off injured on Saturday during the Sky Blues’ clash against Port Vale, which they won 1-0.
But it was later revealed by the club’s physio that Andreu is set to face nine to 12 months on the sidelines after being diagnosed with a tear to his anterior cruciate ligament.
The 29-year-old, who signed for the Sky Blues in mid-August on a two-year deal, proved himself as a highly rated goalscorer in the Scottish Premier Division with Dundee United last season.
Mark Robins said the club will deal with the situation and help him to recover in the best way possible.
