FORMER England and British Lions full back Tim Stimpson will be making a guest appearance when Wasps begin life at the Ricoh Arena this Sunday.
The 41-year-old will be a guest speaker inside the Grosvenor G Casino before and after the game against London Irish.
Fans will be able to meet Stimpson and hear more about his long career in Rugby Union which saw him play for the likes of Wakefield, Newcastle Falcons and Leicester Tigers.
Stimpson was also part of the 1997 British Lions squad that toured South Africa and he would have played a part had it not been for the goal-kicking expertise of Wales legend Neil Jenkins who helped secure a heroic Lions victory.
He also picked up one international cap for England during his career which ended in 2006.
“We are delighted that Tim will be here to enhance the match day experience for both sets of fans” said Quentin Kozma, Customer Services Manager of the casino.
Tim will be on stage at 1.15pm and will also be in the casino after the game.
“We are working closely with the Wasps and I am sure everyone attending Sundays game will have a fantastic time” added Quentin.
Stimpson added: “I am really looking forward to meeting up with all the fans attending the game and hope it will be a great match.”
