COVENTRY City defender Julien Dacosta has joined League One side Shrewsbury Town on loan until the end of the season.
Dacosta has struggled to force his way into Mark Robins’ plans during his two seasons with the club.
The 26-year-old spent the second half of last season on loan at Portuguese side Portimonense where he made 11 appearances in the Primeira Liga.
And the Frenchman made just four league appearances for the Sky Blues in 2021/22 having played 18 league games the previous season following his move from Chamois Niortais.
Dacosta links up with a Shrewsbury side who have recently added former City players Jordan Shipley and Tom Bayliss to their squad with former Sky Blues goalkeeper Marko Marosi also on the Shrews books.
