COVENTRY City have signed defender Luke McNally on loan from Championship leaders Burnley until the end of the season.
McNally joined the Clarets from Oxford United in the summer and made four appearances for Vincent Kompany’s in all competitions.
The 23-year-old impressed with Oxford in League One last season, scoring four goals in 35 appearances, and has previously featured for Drogheda United and St Patrick’s Athletic in his native Ireland.
Sky Blues boss Mark Robins said: “We’re very pleased to welcome Luke to Coventry City. Luke is a very talented footballer, who is strong defensively.
“He’s big and athletic, and strong in the air, and is a very good addition to our squad. We look forward to working with Luke between now and the end of the season.”
