COVENTRY United Women have signed two Tottenham Hotspur players on loan for the remainder of the 2022/23 season.
Goalkeeper Eleanor Heeps and defender Esther Morgan have both joined Coventry from the Women’s Super League (WSL) side.
Heeps spent last season on loan with fellow Women’s Championship club Blackburn Rovers.
The young keeper has been capped by England at under-19 level and spent five years in Liverpool’s academy before joining Spurs in August 2021.
And Morgan came through Tottenham’s academy as she made the step up to the first team in 2020/21 before spending the second half of last season on loan at Leicester City in the WSL.
Morgan received her first senior call-up to the Wales national squad in November 2020 and made her international debut the following year.
