TIGHTHEAD prop Jacob Caulfield has joined Coventry from National League One rivals Cinderford.

The 22-year-old moves to the Butts Park Arena having made 14 appearances and scored two tries for Cinderford last season.

Caulfield has also previously enjoyed spells with Bristold Academy, Ulster Rugby, London Irish and Plymouth Albion in the Champions, and he has also represented England and Ireland up to Under-20 level.

Although primarily a tight-head, Caulfield can also play on the other side of the scrum which will provide further options for Coventry next season.

As part of the deal Louis Silver has moved in the opposite direction after his first team chances at Coventry were limited to just eight appearances.

Coventry have also confirmed this week that trio Danny Wright, Loti Molitika and George Oliver have all committed their future to the club.

Wright, 25, will remain for a fourth season and will be hoping to put last season’s injury-hit season behind him having been restricted to just one start.

Tongan-born Molitika has impressed since joining from National League Two South side Chinnor on deadline day back in February.

The 31-year-old has scored two tries in four starts and is hard-working displays have earned him a new deal which will bolster Coventry’s back row options next season.

And 23-year-old Oliver will also be hoping to put a series of injuries behind him having made 13 appearances.

Another player heading out of the exit doors is Will Hurrell who has decided to make the step up to Championships side Doncaster Knights following another successful season.

Hurrell scored 11 tries in 29 games and is looking forward to making a career in rugby union on a full-time basis.
