WASPS will travel to three-time European Champions Leinster in their opening fixture on the European stage next season.
After reaching the quarter-final of the competition last season, Wasps will renew their rivalry with last year’s European opponents Leinster and reigning European champions Toulon, as well as facing Aviva Premiership Finalists Bath in the pool stages of the European competition.
The eagerly anticipated trip to Ireland will take place on November 15 (1pm) after the first four rounds of next season’s European Champions Cup were confirmed this week.
Wasps then host RC Toulon (November 22) and Bath (December 13) before visiting Bath on December 19.
All four opening games will be shown live on BT Sport and Wasps director of rugby, Dai Young, said he was looking forward to challenging against the best sides in Europe.
He said: “The level of quality in the European Champions Cup is extremely high but, with one of the toughest pools in the competition, we are looking forward to challenging ourselves against the best.
“These games will be brilliant European occasions for our fans to enjoy and the players are all very excited for the challenge ahead.
“Playing away in Dublin and Toulon last season, as well as hosting some of the biggest names at our new home, in Coventry at the Ricoh Arena, stand out as special moments last season and we’re looking forward to creating more of those this year.”
