RUGBY UNION: SOUTH Africa international Willie Le Roux is in line to make his home debut for Wasps at the Ricoh Arena as they host Gloucester in the Aviva Premiership on Sunday.
Springbok Le Roux is named in Dai Young’s starting line-up having impressed off the bench during his debut against Sale Sharks last week, while the only other change for Wasps sees Joe Simpson start at scrum half.
“After back-to-back away games, we’re all looking forward to being back at the Ricoh Arena this Sunday, when we have an opportunity to put things right after last weekend’s disappointing defeat,” said Young.
“As I’ve always said, it’s about how you respond to the bumps in the road that shows the true measure of the squad and I expect a good response and performance this weekend.
“We know how tough a challenge it will be against a Gloucester side who beat us at Kingsholm earlier this season and who will be coming into this match full of confidence, off the back of beating the defending champions, Saracens.”
The match will kick off at 1pm, to allow fans to watch the RBS 6 Nations match between England and Italy on big screens in the Ericsson Exhibition Hall.
The Varsity Finale between Coventry University and University of Warwick will take place on the pitch after the match between Wasps and Gloucester.
