Golfers prepare to get in the swing for Myton Hospices

SUPPORTERS of The Myton Hospices are preparing to swing into action.

The charity’s annual golf day has been planned for September 16 at Coventry Golf Club.

The event, sponsored by BRI Wealth Management, is the perfect chance for supporters to take to the fairways with friends and colleagues, helping raise vital money to support people across Coventry and Warwickshire living with a life-limiting illness, and their families.

As well as golf, the event included a dinner, a bumper raffle, a silent auction, and three live auction prizes to be bid for during the evening.

Event organiser Yasmin Audhali said: “Our annual Golf Day is always a wonderful occasion and we are really looking forward to welcoming old friends and new back to the fabulous Coventry Golf Club.

“We are expecting a fun-filled day, both on the course and at the 19th hole, and hope everyone taking part will dig deep to help us raise as much money as possible for our hospices.

“Despite Covid enforcing a few changes to last year’s event, we were still blown away by the amazing support we received and money we raised – and can’t wait to see you all again for a full and unrestricted day of fun and fundraising.”

Entry costs £320 for a team of four – £260 for Coventry Golf Club members – which includes a bacon roll and coffee on arrival, 18 holes of golf with a shotgun start and a two-course prize presentation dinner with awards up for grabs.

The charity is also looking for prize donations for its raffle or auction. Email [email protected] to donate.
