A CAMPAIGN group has launched a new telephone hotline today which it says will give residents who have issues with Coventry City Council a ‘collective voice’.
‘Coventry Confidential’ wants people to contact them to report any concerns regarding the council and councillors that they feel are not being dealt with.
They claim by collating issues, they will be able to see patterns and then raise concerns collectively, holding the council and elected councillors to account.
An advertising campaign has been launched to raise awareness of the number which is – 07593 831790.
Coventry Confidential says it wants to hear about everything from blocked drains to planning applications where developers seem to be favoured over residents’ interests.
Lifetime Coventry resident Milan Stojsavljevic said: “Coventry Confidential is a new campaign group that’s ready to take Coventry council to task over any failures.
“We won’t be pulling our punches and we will be making our presence felt.
“We know that residents have genuine concerns about the council and Coventry’s councillors.
“Coventry Confidential is giving residents the opportunity to be heard. Our number is now live and residents can call in confidence.”

Campaigners will be out in Coventry City Centre today and over the coming weeks to meet and speak with residents.
