KIND-hearted youngsters from three Coventry schools have been rewarded for their good deeds as they received tickets to see pop icon Harry Styles take the stage in their home city later this month.
In total, 69 students from Foxford School, Grace Academy and Sidney Stringer Academy were given tickets to see the ‘Watermelon Sugar’ star, who will be performing at the Coventry Building Society Arena on May 22 and 23.
Coventry Building Society staff asked teachers from each of the schools to pick the pupils who had been particularly kind to their classmates throughout the year.
The tickets were handed out during surprise announcements in school assemblies over the past few weeks.
Coventry Building Society’s senior community specialist, Belinda Brown, said the chosen youngsters were among the kindest and most deserving in the city.
“You can see from their faces how much it means to them to be going to see Harry Styles – many of them won’t have had the experience of a major concert before,” she said.
“It’s a really special moment to be allowing some of them to experience the love and joy of music by seeing their favourite artist perform in their home city.”
