COVENTRY City will play Sheffield Wednesday in the third round of the FA Cup.
The Sky Blues host the Owls on the weekend of Saturday, January 11 at the Coventry Building Society Arena.
Coventry enjoyed a memorable run to the semi-finals of last season’s competition as the Sky Blues suffered a heartbreaking penalty shootout defeat against eventual winners Manchester United at Wembley.
The Sky Blues beat the Owls in a fourth round replay last season. However, City suffered a late 2-1 defeat against Danny Rohl’s side in the Championship earlier this campaign at the CBS Arena.
Wednesday currently sit four places and seven points above the Sky Blues in the Championship table.
