COVENTRY City have reportedly ‘expressed an interest’ in signing Ipswich Town defender Harry Clarke.
Coventry, Bristol City and Scottish side Hibernian have all ‘expressed an interest’ in trying to sign the right-back, according to SportsBoom.
He primarily operates at right-back but can also play at centre-back.
Clarke is out of contract next summer.
Coventry’s links to Clarke come after the club sold Luis Binks to Brondby. And right-back Milan van Ewijk is a target for Bundesliga side Wolfsburg.
Clarke made seven appearances for Ipswich in the Premier League last season and played a further six games on loan at beaten play-off finalists Sheffield United.
The 24-year-old helped the Tractor Boys achieve promotion from League One to the Premier League in the space of two seasons.
He came through Arsenal’s academy and spent time on loan at Stoke City, Hibernian, Ross County and Oldham Athletic.
