COVENTRY City have paid tribute to former player Bobby Graham who has died as the age of 80.

Graham passed away earlier this week.

He joined the Sky Blues from Liverpool in March 1972 following a decade with the Reds.

The Scottish striker proved the final signing of Noel Cantwell’s spell in charge at Highfield Road.

Graham played his first game for City the day before Cantwell’s departure.

He scored three goals in 19 appearances for the Sky Blues.

During his spell with City, Graham spent time on loan at Tranmere Rovers.

He later returned to Scotland with hometown club Motherwell and also played for Hamilton Academical.
