COVENTRY City performance director Dr Claire-Marie Roberts has left her role at the club.
Roberts joined the Sky Blues in the then newly-created performance director role back in December 2023.
She spent nearly a decade working for the Premier League where she led strategic change in football development prior to her move to the Coventry Building Society Arena.
A club statement said: “The club would like to place on record its appreciation of Dr Roberts’ contribution to a highly successful period in the club’s history, culminating in its promotion to the Premier League.
“The club has been through significant change in the last three years and her commitment to developing and enhancing the club’s performance environment has been highly valued.
“Everyone at the club wishes Dr Roberts every success in her future endeavours.”
The former international swimmer played women’s football for Swindon Town Ladies and latterly Aston Villa Women.
She also worked for the British Olympic Association across three Olympic and Paralympic cycles and held roles in a number of men’s and women’s football clubs and academic positions at UK universities.
