COVENTRY City youngster Callum Perry has joined League One side Cambridge United on a season-long deal ahead of the start of the 2026/27 campaign.
The 20-year-old signed a new long-term contract with the Sky Blues last month following a successful loan spell at Rochdale last term.
And the youngster will continue his development at Cambridge under U’s boss Neil Harris.
Cambridge won promotion from League Two automatically last season.
Perry embarked on his first loan spell away from the club in January last year and made 25 appearances for Rochdale.
He helped Rochdale return to the Football League with a dramatic play-off final victory against Boreham Wood at Wembley.
The defender scored in the penalty shootout to help Dale end their three-year stay in the National League and return to League Two.
He came through Coventry’s academy, featuring for both the under-18s and under-21s, and captained the latter side in the Premier League Cup.
The defender also featured on the bench for the first team on seven occasions last season.
