FOOTBALL: MIDFIELDER Liam Kelly has agreed a two-year contract with Coventry City.
Kelly will officially transfer from Leyton Orient to the Sky Blues on July 1.
The 27-year-old started his career at Kilmarnock in 2009 – where he made over 100 appearances – before joining Bristol City in 2013.
After a year with Bristol City, Kelly moved to Oldham where he played as captain.
A two-year spell with the Latics was followed by a move to Leyton Orient last summer where he again played as captain.
The transfer is subject to EFL and FA approval.
Coventry City manager Mark Robins said: “We’re delighted at the prospect of welcoming Liam to the club.
“He is a very talented footballer who will contribute goals from midfield for us, which is something that is vital to any successful team.
“Liam is also a leader both on and off the pitch, and a fantastic character to have around the club.
“I’m looking forward to working with him.”
