COVENTRY City head coach Frank Lampard is on the shortlist for the Championship’s manager of the month award for February.
Lampard guided the Sky Blues to four wins from five matches last month.
City started the month with a 2-0 victory away at Swansea City with Ellis Simms and Brandon Thomas-Asante on target at the Swansea.com Stadium.
A 2-0 home defeat against title-chasing Leeds United proved City’s only loss in February.
The Sky Blues responded with a 1-0 win against Queens Park Rangers as Bobby Thomas scored a dramatic injury-time winner.
Coventry then beat Sheffield Wednesday 2-1 at Hillsborough as Simms netted another last gasp goal to secure the points.
And Lampard ensured the Sky Blues broke a 17-year curse in beating Preston North End 2-1 at the Coventry Building Society Arena to end the month in style.
The results put Coventry in play-off contention with a recent win at Oxford United moving the club into the top-six.
Also up for the award is Leeds boss Daniel Farke, Portsmouth manager John Mousinho and Burnley boss Scott Parker.
A panel comprising former Barnsley manager Danny Wilson, Sky Sports pundit Don Goodman and Sky Bet EFL trader Ivor Davies will select the winner.
The winner of the award will be revealed on Friday, March 7.
